Only two players, so we ran Unexpected Encounter for out scenario.
Xilos was collapsing. Orders were to get to the transmat as fast as possible, stopping for nothing. An Algoryn force was escaping in the opposite direction, and both forces collided. Warning shots were fired, but neither side was going to change course. Without other options, the battle began in earnest. It started out looking like it would be a bloody exchange, but suddenly luck turned against the Algoryn. The Boromites took out a sqad on the left flank, and their lavamites attacked a skimmer on the right. Despite losing their handler, the lavamites charged on in. The skimmer was badly damaged and immobilized. The lavamites kept charging and ran into another assault squad. In the end the remaining lavamites fled the field, but the Algoryn squad was also destroyed. A pair of vorpal charges finished off the skimmer. With both of his flanks crushed, Draegors last squad tried to fight on. Fear overcame them and they stayed low, firing ineffectively. With the path to the transmat open, the Boromites chose not to finish off the Algoryn and continued their escape. The Boromites managed to escape off of Xilos with most of their force intact. It was never determined if the few surviving Algoryn managed to escape the vortex of not.
If you knew how tough an opponent Draegor is, you would be even more impressed with my six wins. Superfletch is no slouch either, but Draegor kicks my tail on a regular basis. I’ve been pinching myself all through this campaign waiting to wake up. I doubt if anyone is more surprised by my six wins than I am!
6 wins in a row for the Boromites. You sir deserve a medal!
Nice job!
Good job!
Good win, brother!
It seems natural that the Boromites would win.
