TURN 1: Ghar Battlesuits Reach the edge of the Ruin city. Danger is in the air and they are out for blood! With a furious rage they charged at us with reckless abandon! Taking them on head to head is know to be unwise. Our only hope is to put them into overlapping fields of fire and pray we hit their plasma amps and wipe out these vermin!
TURN 2: With the speed of the Ghars advance we are unsure if we will emerge the victors and bring honor to the legion. But luck it seems, at least for now is on our side. Both amps burn out and then, The distort die is drawn… I hold my breathe and grey hairs seem to grow in an instant but then, relief sweeps over me as my opponents dice is drawn and a battle squad goes down! Now we can turn our full attention to the second squad!
Turn 3: With the First Battle Squad still down our forces through everything we’ve got at the Second Squad! Our Lance units are found to be the most effective and 2 units fall. Our Support Drones pump devastating plasma shots into the down Ghar unit. 4 initial hits but due to the down order a re roll is forced. We only manage 2 successes. The a most pleasing sight! A critical fail! One a mother battle suit falls! Down to half strength and the tide of battle not in their favor. The Ghar Conceed to our forces, back up arrives and they are shipped off for processing.
