Battle for Xilos

Tan-Zar and his patrol came under heavy fire from an Isorian Ambush. The Isorians focused their efforts on the Algoryn’s Xlauncher, killing 2 of the crew and pinning the remaining squad member. Without the aide of the Xlauncher the firefight would prove to be difficult and costly. The constant fire from the Isorians disturbed a nest of Drummers, that in turn assaulted Gzar’s unit and killing 2 of them before they could kill the beast.
Tan-Zar seeing that the Isorians had the advantage decided on a bold strategy. Giving the order and leading by example Tan-Zar advanced into the hailing fire of the Isorians. Round after round impacted on his reflex armour, but Tan-Zar remained unharmed and in the fight. Gzar saw his leader leading the heroic advance and joined in. Soon all of the Algoryn had joined in the advance. First one Isorian squad fell and then the next. The firepower from the combine units of Algoryns was relentless and deadly.
The Isorians fell back and left the field to the Algoryns.
