Battle for Xilos

The Copperhead Division of the Concord scum breached our airspace and began raining drop capsules down on our position. Luckily for us we had recently acquired some anti-aircraft plasma launchers. I counted 12 pods in our sector, we shot down 4, 5 scattered North and West and 3 landed near the shield generator. I sent a squad of battle suits to see what touched down. I quickly had to reinforce them in my command crawler as 2 medium drones & a squad of men popped 2 of my suits. Then another 3 squads of men made a run for the generator from the North and West. My other battle squad easily took care of the first wave, but the second and third made it to the generator. After some down and dirty fighting, we surrounded the survivors at the generator and took them prisoner. It seems they had had enough. We found out later we had knocked out their Combat Drone on descent. That would have given us fits. The generator will need 12 new parts, but in the end we prevailed. Ghar!
